Phil has over 25 years of blue-chip leadership experience in operations, global human resources and as an Executive Development Faculty member in industry leading organizations. These include Citigroup, Avon Products, American Express, Kraft Foods and DOD. Phil distinguished himself in the area of leadership development and coaching by pioneering an award-winning executive coaching practice for the top 100 executives, leading to improved business results at the largest company in the world.
As a trusted advisor and executive coach, Phil consults with senior executives, emerging leaders and boards across industries to include financial services, hospitality, consumer products, entertainment, retail, non-profit and defense. An independent practitioner, Phil is also an adjunct Senior Consultant/Executive Coach with two Philadelphia-based firms, The Leaders Edge/Leaders by Design and Bracken Leadership. His client work focuses on helping leaders and teams become more effective by crafting leadership strategies for success. Phil encourages clients to accept accountability for increasing their own effectiveness by enhancing their strategic perspective, being more visionary and relevant, being better critical decision makers and mastering feedback and coaching skills necessary to enhance team performance and drive business results. He also helps leaders successfully transition into new cultures or companies and assimilate into new roles. Representative clients include Aramark, Citigroup, DOD, ESPN, The Wharton School Graduate Leadership Program, DuPont and two global non-profits.
Phil a West Point Graduate with a BS degree is in Engineering. He also holds an MA with distinction in Global Strategy from the U.S. Army War College.
Phil is a FAA certified, instrument, jet rated commercial pilot with over 5,000 hours of command flight time. He has run 5 NYC Marathons and is an active training enthusiast. Having lived and worked abroad, Phil and his wife of 25 years, his son Jonathan and daughter Jessica now reside in the greater Philadelphia area. He is an Advisory Board member of Healing the Children, a global non-profit and is on the Board of Directors of The West Point Society of Philadelphia.
